Press Release Summary: AV Hotline's innovative approach to advocacy is helping
hundreds of victims

Press Release Body: On 1/8/2008, Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. will go live and operate
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. is a
Massachusetts nonprofit organization, founded in August 2006 by Attorney Robert K.
Rainer and Counselor Noelle Rainer. AVH offers free, confidential legal advice,
preliminary psychological counseling and referrals to victims of abuse. AVH was
founded on the principal that abuse is more than domestic violence, and victims are
more than simply women and children. AVH offers services nationally to women and
men of all ages, suffering from all forms of physical, emotional, sexual, and
financial maltreatment.

What makes Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. the missing link? "Our goal is twofold: to
initially comfort victims and to then guide the victim to the proper service or
resource that is just right for them. Our agency is unique in that it is designed to
fill the gap between the victim and the proper agency to serve the victim," notes
Attorney Rainer. "We don't really see ourselves as a competitor to other nonprofits
that do advocacy work, because we hope to help those organizations that are already
helping victims." AVH establishes connectivity between the victim and the serving
agency in a way that allows the victim to call the shots. AV Hotline gives victims
back their autonomy by providing nonjudgmental guidance at a pace set by the victim.

Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. offers three mediums by which victims can contact the
agency: a hotline, an email service, and a text message service for mobile phones.
All are free and confidential, and designed so that the victim does not have to
re-live the shame of their experience by explaining their situation directly to
another person. AVH was designed to aid those who are seeking initial support and
education.

The Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. texting feature is revolutionary in the human
services field. One simply texts the word 'abuse' to TextMe (839363) and they will
receive an immediate response from the hotline. Now victims have the chance to
discreetly contact an advocate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year,
simply by using their cell phone.

To date, after only a year and a half of operation, Abuse Victim Hotline, Inc. has
counseled hundreds of victims. "There is a real need for our service," comments
founder and agency Executive Director Noelle Rainer. "There was no way I was going
to contact the police," explains an AVH client.
